• CUSTOMER SERVICE IS COMPLETELY NON EXISTANT.

  God help us!!! My wife tried to book a 7.5t lorry for the day for my use- I have a Class 2 HGV license which we duly provided on request of the Manager on the hire desk. The said Manager behind the counter could not make head not tail of the categories on a diving license which I obviously find rather bemusing as their primary field of business is vehicle hire. So I interjected by requesting they phone the DVLA to clarify as we were getting absolutely nowhere with this guy. Simple enough? NOoooo. He did not phone them and then quote the driver number and then ask has this man got HGV entitlement which would have cleared the situation up immediately. Obviously far too simple- he did not mention the driver number at all just started spouting off every single entitlement on it which then thoroughly confused him- give me strength! He then finished his pointless phone call and said I think you have it but I’m going to charge you double the insurance excess of £2000.00 as I’m not sure if you have a HGV??? Can they really run a business like that? I’m not sure,,, but I am really sure I did not take the chance with them seeing as they don’t really know what they are doing when dealing with the public. They are also very rude. Yours faithfully, A very confused HGV license holder.
