Excellent Coffee, friendly staff

Located between a Franchised Coffee Outlet (that shall remain nameless) and the bus station it would be quite easy to miss this gem of a coffee shop, pass it up at your peril.The interior is uncluttered but cosy, taken up mostly with comfortable brown leather sofas. The counter is dominated by a gorgeous electric blue and chrome Elektra coffee machine. Music is at a pleasant, background noise level and the mix is varied, it would be very easy to conduct a conversation in here over a latte or two; speaking of which, the coffee (compared to the place next door and just about anywhere else) is fantastic; strong and smooth, without a trace of the burn which seems so popular with the American style chains. Food choices are light, sandwiches mostly. The Cheese and ham toastie I had was very tasty and reasonably priced again. There is also a very inticing selection of cakes on the counter for those of you that have a sweet tooth.In conclusion, with friendly staff and excellent, reasonably priced coffee it's a place I feel I could come back to time and time again.[Edit] Forgot to mention, they have free wifi too :)
