    I've been there on a weekday lunchtime, on about 10 occasions in the last 18 months. The food is pretty good and there is a large selection, with some good deals. The interior is very pleasant but it would be a nightmare using outside eating area at the front of the pub which is just a few feet away from roaring arterial road traffic! As far as carveries go this is about as good as it gets in the Southend area.
