About Us

TRCS has been in service for 5 years, working alongside professional counsellors and counselling organisations both locally and nationally. Counsellors, offering a range of speciatlites, are trained and expereinced and are members of professional bodies such as BACP, ACC, and BPS. Counselling is offered in school and college settings, client homes, and various counselling rooms in the community. Email and postal support is available to those who feel unable for whatever reason to enter counselling, but would like personal support. Counselling is funded by Client, agreed with Counsellor on a sliding-scale where necessary.

TRCS is continually looking to form new working partnerships with counsellors and organisations, so expanding the services offered. Befriending, Group Counselling and self-help support groups, i.e. for eating disorders, will be considered where there is sufficient number of clients, counsellors and support workers to form such groups i.e. Counselling skills training, from Level 2 (Introduction to counselling and counselling skills) will be available in due course, please enquire. Family and parent support groups, including commicating with your children, parent/baby/child bonding, drug awareness and such are under discussion Group supervision will be considered where appropriate Please enquire about any of the above to Jeanette who will be able to give further information as appropriate

True Reflections Counselling Services (TRCS) offers information, support and counselling services to children and adults, their families, schools, groups, health care professionals etc. Counsellor Supervision to new and experienced counsellors and supervisors.
