  I haver escued a dog from you in the past and he was a darling. Sadly he has gone to doggie heaven. He was about six years when we re-homed himand we had him for eleven lovely years. Janet Richmond

• Brilliant Kennel

  I have been to Gemini Kennels twice over the last nine years. Michael and Eunice are very hardworking animal lovers who thoroughly vet people before they rehome the dogs in their care. I phoned before visiting and was asked what sort of dog I was looking for on each occasion. When I visited, instead of being able to look around and disturb all the dogs, they brought out one or two that fitted what I was looking for. I was asked if I worked, which I do as do the rest of my family only to see if the dog would be left on it's own all day. I have two beautiful dogs from this kennel and would recommend them to anyone. I was polite to the Gemini staff and they were lovely to me!

  we rang this kennel up and asked for their opening times. They said 1-3pm, and told us what dogs they had, not asking us any questions over the phone. We drove there all the way from london taking us almost an hour. On arriving there a woman came out and very rudely told us that they were closed. And then she asked do we work, which we do, and she told us they do not allow dogs to people that work!! so it seems this kennel only gives dogs to people on the dole who cannot afford to give them a good life. In the end we went to acres way in Benfleet, who we would thoroughly recommend. They were very nice and helpful. So if you want to go to a kennels give this one a miss and go to acres way instead
