  I would never recommend such a horrible estate agency. I once used Holmes Pearman to let out my property in Basildon. The first tenant they put in the property paid for only two months and after that never paid again. Upon contacting Holmes Pearman to find out what they were doing all they said was 'There is nothing we can do about it'. Considering they had been billing me 100 pounds a month it was as good as tossing money down the drain because it was obvious all they want is your money with no work put in at all. After many months of having to pay the mortgage myself while the tenant they put in lived 'freely' in my well furnished house, the tenant finally moved out. Some months later, Holmes Pearman contacted me again to say they have another tenant. I was pleased that the house would be occupied again. This tenant they put in paid for only two months and then stopped paying. I have contacted Holmes Pearman earlier this week to find out why every tenant they put in seems to never pay. This time all they told me was that 'they have other landlords to deal with and that they cannot do anything about it'.. How terrible can these sorry excuse for an agents be. I think this estate agents collaborate with benefits cheats that are looking for a house to stay and then stop paying so that the council can give them a place to stay. LANDLORD BEWARE THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND DODGY. They do absolutely nothing but take your money. i would not even recommend them to an enemy.
